That smell actually has a name petrichor.
It's the natural scent released when rain falls on dry soil. That's why so many people love it; it feels fresh, calming, and reminds us of nature.

For me, the smell of wet earth after rain is one of the best feeling in the world where i feel grounded touching my feet to the wet Soil..
