Autumn leaves lay upon the ground
The air grows colder day by day

Frost has begun to take hold
The pond water slowly freezing

Colour is fading away faster
The darkness comes earlier now

Autumn has faded & Winter has arrived
It's so cold & desolate here

The storm has taken hold
The warmth from the fire burning bright

Winter has frozen everything
Count the day's until Spring's return

The cold shows no mercy
Spring brings hope and relief

The warmth shall eclipse the coldness once again
