It was now December 20th and it had been over a month without a murder , as Lucy and Inspector Abberline walked through the streets they suddenly heard a scream. "MURDER...HELP POLICE!" screamed a woman , Lucy and the Inspector ran across the cobblestones towards the woman , "where is the body?" asked the Inspector , the woman pointed towards the graveyard and then ran away.

Lucy and the Inspector ran towards the graveyard and as they reached the gate they saw a body , the body of a woman lay there slumped against a gravestone. "Is it a ripper victim?" Asked Lucy , "I'm not sure , some wounds are similar but others do not match" said the Inspector as he looked at the woman's body , "hmm so it may not be a ripper murder" said Lucy.

"No traces of evidence left behind , just like the other murder's" said the Inspector , "no evidence hmm , keep looking Inspector" said Lucy. The Inspector continued to examine the crime scene but found nothing , "I don't think this is a ripper murder" said the Inspector , "why is that Inspector?" Said Lucy , "only some of the wounds match and this victim's death was not as messy and violent as the others" said the Inspector.

"Are you suggesting the person that killed this woman was a copycat killer?" Said Lucy , "hmm it is possible but it is also possible that it could be completely unrelated" said the Inspector as he adjusted his hat. Later that morning the coroner had taken the woman's body away while Lucy and the Inspector headed towards the Whitechapel train station , "I must go home but I shall be back as soon as I can Inspector" said Lucy.

"Very well then I shall see you soon , thank you for your assistance , goodbye Lucy ," said the Inspector as she boarded the train. The day's passed by and then day's had become weeks and the weeks had become a few months , it was now July 16th 1889 and apart from the murder several months before in December it has been silent , "it has been eight months since the last ripper murder" said the Inspector as he sat at his desk.

Over the last several months Lucy had moved to Whitechapel and helped the Inspector with his work , suddenly the Inspector's telephone rang. "Ah hello Lucy how can I help you" said the Inspector , "i would like us to meet outside the old factory near Whitechapel station in half an hour" said Lucy , "of course , I shall be there as soon as I can" said the Inspector.

Lucy left her home and walked towards the old factory as the Inspector got onto a horse carriage and travelled towards Whitechapel. Ten minutes or so later the Inspector had arrived at Whitechapel as it began to rain and fog descended and filled the streets..
