Lucy and the Inspector rode the horse carriage towards the cathedral as the clouds blocked out the light , "we are almost there Inspector" said Lucy as she saw the cathedral ahead of her. A few minutes later Lucy and the Inspector had arrived at the cathedral and climbed off the horse carriage and looked around , "where is this friend of yours?" Asked for he inspector.

"He asked me to meet him by the statue" said Lucy as they walked around , "is that your friend over there?" Said the Inspector as he pointed towards large statue. "Yes that is him" said Lucy , a moment later the Inspector and Lucy walked towards the statue and greeted the man standing next to it , "ah there you are Lucy" said the man , "this is Inspector Abberline , he wanted to join us" said Lucy , "very well , hello Inspector my name is Arthur" said the man , "hello nice to meet you" said the Inspector.

"Shall we go somewhere a little quieter" said Arthur , Lucy and the Inspector nodded and followed Arthur to a pub and went inside. They bought a few tankards of beer and sat at a table in a quiet corner of the room , "so you say you may be able to help with these murder's?" Said Lucy , "yes I may be able to help but I cannot promise anything" said Arthur , "what do you know about Jack The Ripper" whispered the Inspector.

"I spoke to a woman around the time of one of the murder's" said Arthur , "what did this woman say?" Asked Lucy , "she said she saw a man in a black suit a trenchcoat and he wore a top hat and a mask" said Arthur. "Did she say anything else?" Asked the Inspector , "yes the woman said she saw the man following one of the victim's" said Arthur , "ah he was wearing a mask so she could not identify him" said Lucy.

"I'm afraid not" said Arthur as the Inspector drank his beer , "there must be something we could find out about the ripper" said Lucy. "He kills people and then just vanishes , he's a like a ghost" said Arthur , "hmm I wonder if the ripper will strike again soon" said the Inspector , "maybe he will or maybe he will stop so he avoids being caught" said Arthur , "hmm that is possible" said Lucy.

"We have had a few suspects but there is now evidence linking them to these murder's so we had to let them go" said the Inspector. "Hmm , thank you for sharing your information Arthur" said Lucy , "yes maybe it will be helpful" said the Inspector as he shook Arthur's hand , "I am glad I could assist you , however I must go home" said Arthur , a few moments later Arthur had left the pub and Lucy and Inspector Abberline went their separate ways.

Lucy went back to her brother's home and got some rest as the Inspector went to police headquarters and continued his investigation on the ripper murder's.
