As the omni-skytrain fell through the sky Sam and Vanessa held on tight as the storm raged on , "we can't sit here and do nothing" said Sam. "What can we do?" Said Vanessa , moments later..."BOOM".. the lightning had struck the omni-skytrain again hitting the pilot's cabin , air surged through the omni-skytrain as it continued to fall through the sky , "what was that!?" Said Sam.
Vanessa turned her head around a little and looked down the compartments , "the lightning hit the pilot's cabin" said Vanessa. "Are the pilot's alive?" Asked Sam , "They're dead" said Vanessa , Sam became silent for a few moments as he thought to himself , moments later Sam unfastened the strap's and made his way to the pilot's cabin , "what are you doing!? , you're going to get yourself killed!" Shouted Vanessa.
"Trust me" said Sam as he looked Vanessa in the eyes , a moment later Sam entered the pilot's cabin and looked around , "ah there you are!" Said Sam as he reached out a finger towards the autopilot switch. Suddenly a voice came through..."autopilot failed" said the computer voice , "damn!! , I need another plan" said Sam as he made his way back to Vanessa.
Moments later he had reached Vanessa and told her the autopilot had failed , "we're going to die here" said Vanessa , "no! , I won't let you die and I don't plan on dying today either" said Sam. The omni-skytrain continued to fall through the sky a little slower as the raging winds slowed their descent , "I have an idea but it's insane" said Sam , "what is it?" Asked Vanessa.
"We jump out of the omni-skytrain.." said Sam , "you're right that is insane" said Vanessa as she unfastened her strap's , "but what about the other passengers" said Vanessa. Then suddenly the lightning struck the omni-skytrain once again hitting the compartments behind them. , moments later an explosion ripped through the compartments and killed the passengers.
"Oh no..." Said Vanessa , "I guess that settles it, there's nothing we can do now except jump" said Sam as he took Vanessa's hand and held it. A moment later they moved forward towards the next compartment and pryed the door open , "when I say jump we jump ok!" Said Sam , Vanessa nodded and took a deep breath , then a minute later lightning struck the omni-skytrain again.
"Jump!!" Said Sam , moments later Sam and Vanessa were free falling through the sky towards the ground , then "KABOOOM"... suddenly the omni-skytrain exploded above them. "Looks like we escaped just in time" shouted Vanessa as Sam held her hand while they fell through the sky together , Sam and Vanessa fell a little slower towards the ground as the wind grew stronger.
"Do you trust me" said Vanessa , "always" said Sam , moments later Vanessa held Sam closer and then pulled a cord on her robe. Seconds later Vanessa's robe tightened and shaped itself into a wing suit , "when did you get that!?" Said Sam , I've been working on it for a while , I figured now is a good time to use it" said Vanessa as they soared through the sky towards the ground.
Vanessa steered herself and Sam as they tore through the sky at high speed dodging the lightning bolts , "I gotta get myself one of those wing suit robes!" Said Sam. A short time later Vanessa and Sam made the descent towards the ground as they began to slow down , a few minutes later they had landed safely in Destiny City cemetery , they took a deep breath and stood still for a few moments.
"To think this is where we could have ended up.." said Sam , "I'm glad we didn't my love" said Vanessa as she pulled the cord on her robe. "At least we know your invention works!" Said Sam , Vanessa smiled and said , "yes , now let's get back to the outpost , "I need that shower!" Said Vanessa , "that makes that two us" said Sam as they started to head home to the league of knights outpost.
A short time later they had finally arrived at the outpost and sat down on the sofa and rested a short while , after they had rested Vanessa stood up. "Right time for that shower" said Vanessa and walked slowly towards the bathroom as Sam sat there on the sofa , "are you coming..." Said Vanessa , Sam's eyes suddenly widened then he got up quickly and followed Vanessa into the bathroom and then began to undress themselves..
