As Atlas and Melyssia reached the edge of the town they saw a crowd forming on the street , "what is going on?" Said Atlas. "Let us go and see" said Melyssia , a few moments later they stood amongst the crowd and waited , then within a few minutes a group of men appeared in front of them , "look it's Hercules!!" Said one of the women in excitement , "and there is Odysseus!!" Said a beautiful woman as she blushed a little.
"Perseus and Theseus are here too!!" Said the blacksmith , "good afternoon my friend's" said Hercules and smiled at them. "The legendary hero's...here in Thessaly!!" Said the beautiful woman , "we are passing through Thessaly on our journey" said Odysseus as he brushed his hair away from his eye , "I never thought we would get to see the hero's" said Melyssia as she held Atlas's hand.
"Neither did I" said Atlas as the golden light from the sun beamed over Thessaly , "you must stay and join us for the feast!" Said the villager's. "I must say I am very hungry" said Hercules , "you are always hungry Hercules!" Said Odysseus before laughing a little , a moment later Hercules laughed loudly and playfully punched his arm , "it feels as if I have not eaten for a while so I will join your feast" said Perseus.
"I agree, I shall join you , so shall I!" Said Odysseus and Hercules , "then I must also take part in your feast" said Theseus , later that day after sunset the citizens of Thessaly had almost finished preparing the feast. Large tables stood beside the town center with various plates of food placed on them , the glow of orange light filled the area as the torches burned bright.
A short time later preparations had finished and people had arrived at the feast , Hercules , Odysseus , Perseus and Theseus took their places as they sat around one of the tables. Soon after...Atlas and Melyssia had arrived and sat opposite the hero's , "I am glad I changed into my favourite dress" said Melyssia , "you look beautiful" said Atlas as Melyssia's long white and gold dress moved a little in the gentle breeze.
A few minutes later music filled the area as the musicians played their instruments , "let the feast begin!" Said the man at the far end of the table. Hercules wasted no time and grabbed various pieces of food and crammed them onto his plate , "save some food for the rest of us Hercules" said Odysseus as he raised an eyebrow and grabbed an apple , "hahah!" Laughed Hercules as he grabbed something to drink.
Meanwhile Perseus and Theseus had chosen to eat the grilled fish as Atlas and Melyssia filled their plates with a little roasted lamb and vegetables. Moments later Perseus , Theseus and Odysseus's jaws dropped a little as they watched Hercules trying to eat multiple things at once , "Hercules do you not think that you should slow down a little?" Said Perseus.
Hercules mouth full of meat , bread and olives he tried to speak , a few moments later after he swallowed the food Hercules said "hmm I could but where would be the fun in that!?". Odysseus placed his face in the palm of his hand and sighed a little as Perseus and Theseus continued to eat their food , "it has been some time since I had roasted lamb this good!" Said Atlas and then sank his teeth into another piece.
"I cannot wait for dessert , the peaches , oranges and watermelon look so fresh and soft" said Melyssia , one hour later everyone had finished their meal and began to eat their dessert. "Mm this peach is so moist and sweet" said Melyssia as Atlas bit into an orange , "mm orange , my favourite!" Said Atlas , meanwhile across the table Hercules continued to stuff his mouth with fruit.
"Not again..." Said Theseus as he watched Hercules trying to eat multiple pieces of fruit at once , later that evening the villager's showed Hercules , Odysseus , Perseus and Theseus a place they could stay for the night. The four hero's thanked the villager's for their hospitality and went to their rooms for some well earned rest , "that was a good meal" said Melyssia as she and Atlas got up and walked through the streets towards their home.
As the moon glowed bright over Thessaly Atlas and Melyssia continued onwards towards their home , Atlas stopped and stood still for a moment and looked around. "Melyssia? , where are you?" Said Atlas , a moment later Atlas was grabbed and pulled into the dark alley between some old buildings...
