Epic Legend
The sun shone bright as Odysseus and Athena travelled through the mountains , as they reached the exit they saw a campsite at the bottom of a hill. Odysseus and Athena walked down the hill until they reached a large rock sticking out of the ground , they quickly hid behind the rock and peeked over it and watched the campsite , they watched as a group of guards patrolled the perimeter , "who are they" said Athena , "they're Persian's" said Odysseus.
"Why are there Persian's here" said Athena , "they must be travelling through here" said Odysseus , moments later Odysseus and Athena sneaked down the hill as quickly as they could. They had reached the bushes behind the Persian campsite and hid there and observed them , "what are they doing" whispered Odysseus , Athena looked around and saw some people and animals locked in some cages , suddenly they heard the Persian guards talking to one another.
"We should let these people go" said one of the guard's , "no they've seen to much already , they need to die" said the leader of the guard's , "we don't need to kill these people" said the guard , "if we let them go they will tell others about our animal smuggling" said the leader. The guard reluctantly agreed and drew his sword then walked to the cages , he let the prisoners out one by one and made them kneel down onto the ground.
A few other guard's stood behind the prisoners and drew their swords and waited for the leaders signal , a few moments later the leader gave the signal and watched as his guard's executed the prisoners. Blood spilled across the sand and stones as the guard's dragged the prisoners lifeless bodies across the ground and threw them into a ditch , meanwhile behind the bushes Athena and Odysseus topped watching the guard's.
"So that's what they are doing , smuggling animals" said Athena , Odysseus grumbled a little and said "they're not going to get away with this" , Odysseus Athena came up with a plan and then put it into action. Athena used her powers to distract a few of the guard's as Odysseus sneaked into the camp , he crawled through a hole in the tent a grabbed one of the guard's from behind and snapped his neck , as Athena continued to distract the guard's at the perimeter Odysseus sneaked around the campsite and continued to eliminate the guard's one by one.
Only the guard's around the perimeter remained as Odysseus unlocked the cages and set the animals free , all the animals ran and flew away but one cage still needed to be unlocked. Odysseus quickly unlocked the last cage and opened the door a little and then ran away towards Athena , he grabbed her arm and took her towards the other side of the campsite and climbed up onto a large rock , meanwhile at the campsite the last animal walked out of the cage.
The guard's turned around as they heard a loud growl behind them , "ahhhh" screamed the remaining guard's and leader as a large bear charged towards them. The men drew their weapons and defended themselves , moments later the guard's screamed as the big bear mauled them ripping through their clothes , it's razor sharp claws slicing through their flesh , Athena and Odysseus watched on as the bear tore the Persian's apart , blood sprayed across the ground and onto the bears fur as it killed the guard's.
"I think we should get out of here before the bear see's us" said Odysseus , Athena nodded and moments later she and Odysseus quickly left the area and got as far as they could away from the bear. They travelled away from the mountains and walked through the fields towards the lake , after they arrived at the lake Odysseus and Athena set up camp as the sun began to set , they ate some food and drank some water as they talked about where they wanted to go next.
