The Adventures of Hercules Part 2

The Atlantean

Wellknown Ace
Hercules and Odysseus walked by the river and headed towards a small mountain area , they kept on walking until they reached a large temple surrounded by fields and a small village nearby , there were some people around the the temple exercising and stretching themselves, Hercules and Odysseus walked over to them and greeted them. "What's going on here my friend" said Hercules as he smiled, a man said , "were holding a sports event" , Hercules and Odysseus asked if they could join in and the man nodded, Hercules picked up a discus and said "I always liked discus" then he stretched a little and threw the discus , the discus flew through the air and skimmed across a large pond and landed on a rock about 50 feet away.

"Wow , that's a new record" said the man as Hercules held his beard and then laughed, Odysseus picked up a spear and threw it hard , the spear flew through the air hit a tree, "how's that" said Odysseus, "not bad at all my friend" chuckled Hercules as he raised his eyebrow and ran his fingers through his hair. They did another few events then had some food and drink, "can you help us get rid of a beast , it's been terrorising our village for weeks" said the man , " what kind of beast" asked Odysseus, the man gave them a description then Hercules said , "it's a gryphon , we'll slay the beast for you".

"Thank you Hercules and Odysseus" , they shook hands and headed further into the mountains, the gryphon was flying through the sky then landed by the old ruins ahead, Hercules and Odysseus moved swiftly towards the ruins and drew their swords and planned their attack as the gryphon drank some water from a small stream.....to be continued in part 3
