There are probably hundreds of words in Telugu which are used as words of scolding/swear words. I just want to put some important ones which are used regularly. There are other rants, sexual abuses and still more vulgar slang terms which I don’t wish to write on social forums.

- Vedava / Yedava (Fool/Idiot) : A common word used to scold others.
- Gaadida/Adda Gaadida/Geviri Gaadida (Asshole).
- Dokka Chinchutha (Dokka = Skin in rural areas, Chinchutha =Tear) : I’d tear you apart.
- Tholu Teestha (Tholu = Skin, Teestha = Peel) : I’d peel your skin.
- Pallu Raalagodta (Pallu = Teeth, Raalagodta = Break That) : I’d break your teeth.
- Cheppu Tegutundi / Cheppu Teesi Kodta (Cheppu = Footwear, Tegutundi = Break, Teesi Kodta = Hit) : I’d hit you with footwear.
- Kosi Karam Pedta (Kosi = Cut, Karam = Spice, Pedta = Put it) : I’d peel you and apply Chillies (in short, I'd peel you left and right)
- Noru Muyyi (Noru = Mouth, Muyyi = Close) : A word for Shut up/shut your mouth.
- Chempa Pagalugodta (Chempa = Cheek, Pagalugodta = Slap/hit) : A phrase for I’d slap you.
- Veepu Vimanam Motha (Veepu = Back, Vimanam = Flight, Motha = unbearable sound) : A phrase for hitting a person by applying full force.
- Nee Bathuku Bus Stand/Nee Bathuku Cheda (Nee = You, Bathuku = Life, Cheda = Spoil) : Comparing a person to a platform.
- Sannasi/Daddamma /Vaajamma : Used to refer to an inefficient, incapable and inept person.
- Nanganaachi : Generally used to refer a cunning woman/witches.
- Pichchoda : A lunatic person.
- Thikkoda/Verrodaa/Erripappa : A fool.
- Mudarashtapu: Refers to a wicked person.
- Donga: Thief.
- Drohi: Cheat and Nammaka Drohi : Betrayer.
- Nee Dumpa Thega : An abuse referring to the separation of the opponent's parents.
- Paniki Maalinoda : An inefficient person or used to refer a person who roams/wonders on the streets without doing any constructive job.
- Champuta : I’d Kill you.
- Narukuta : I’d kill you into pieces.
- Donga Sachchinoda/Donga Naa Kodaka : An abuse used to refer an idiot or a cheat.
- Siggu Sharam Unnaya : Do you have any shame left.
