fragments scattered like stars
in a sky no longer yours.
But they never saw how
your hands, though trembling,
gathered light from every shard.
You didn’t rush.
You didn’t pretend.
You felt every edge,
named every wound.
And still, you reached.
Piece by piece,
you built a mosaic
not of what you were—
but what you chose to become.
