A few hours later they had reached their destination and anchored their ship , they climbed down and onto the beach and walked onwards past the beach and towards the cliff face. They saw a temple built into the cliff face and looked around , "hmm I get a bad feeling about this place" said Odysseus , Athena and Odysseus drew their swords and slowly walked towards the temple and went inside , they walked deeper into the temple and heard a noise in one of the rooms , they walked towards the room slowly and silently then saw a figure moving around in the shadows.
Suddenly the figure laughed as she sensed Odysseus and Athena close in on her , suddenly she burst out of the shadows and said , "I told you we would meet again" , "Euryale , the last Gorgon" said Odysseus. "You'll pay for killing my sister Stheno" said Euryale , she lunged towards Odysseus and attacked , her claws clashing against his sword , Athena rushed forwards and attacked Euryale , "who helped you escape last time we met" said Athena as she and Odysseus attacked her , Euryale laughed as she defended herself then said , "Ares helped me to escape"
, "ugh I knew it" said Athena as she distracted Euryale , Odysseus sneaked around through the shadows then jumped on Euryale's back.
Odysseus and Athena avoided her deadly gaze while fighting her , Odysseus thrust his sword through Euryale's back , she screamed and hissed loudly as Athena thrust her sword forward and impaled her gut. Then Odysseus removed his divine sword and swung it through the air and cut Euryale's head clean off , blood dripped off his sword as he jumped onto the floor and stood next to Athena , "at least we know who helped her escape" said Odysseus , Athena and Odysseus walked out of the temple then suddenly a burst of red light flashed in front of them.
It was Ares , he laughed loudly and said "finally I've escaped from my banishment" , he gripped his large battle axe as his red eyes glowed , "time for my revenge" said Ares...
