A few days after saying goodbye to the amazon warriors and leaving the island of Lemnos , Athena, Odysseus and his crew sailed across the sea and reached Athens. They anchored the ship at the harbour and then went ashore and walked through the streets , they walked towards the acropolis and up the hill to the Parthenon, suddenly there was a burst of red light and Athena, Odysseus and his men were no longer in Athens , they had been teleported to the mountains, "what's going on where are we" said Odysseus, suddenly a dark figure appeared in front of them , "Ares" said Athena as the figure emerged from the shadows , "I've come back for my revenge" said Ares as he grabbed his sword.
His sword glowed as fire enveloped the blade , suddenly Ares fired a large box blast of fire towards Odysseus's men and vaporised them turning them into ash , a look of anger on Odysseus's face as he drew his sword and then charged towards Ares , Odysseus's sword clanged against Ares's sword. Their swords locked against each other then suddenly Ares kicked Odysseus and sent him through the air and down into the ground , Athena grabbed her spear and thrust it towards Ares and stabbed him in the gut then pulled it out , Ares groaned and said "you will pay for that Athena" , "you will watch your mortal lover perish" said Ares , he charged towards Odysseus's as his sword burned brighter and hotter.
Ares thrust his sword down towards Odysseus as he still lay on the ground, Odysseus swiftly rolled out of the way and picked up his sword , Odysseus reached behind him and grabbed his shield as Ares mumbled to himself. Their swords clashed again, Odysseus feeling the burning heat radiating from Ares's sword , Ares was to strong and pushed Odysseus back but this time Odysseus swiftly ducked down and slashed his sword at Ares cutting him , "ahh this cannot be" said Ares as his blood dripped onto the ground, "I have the power to kill gods" said Odysseus as he twirled his divine sword around in his hand , Ares raged and swung his fiery sword left and right through the air trying to strike Odysseus down barely missing him each time, Athena ran towards Odysseus and helped him.
Athena and Odysseus battled side by side against Ares as he raged on , suddenly Ares's eyes glowed red as he used his magic then the ground shook as and cracked as figures started to emerge from the ground , a group of skeletons appeared in front of them holding swords and shields. The skeleton warriors charged towards them as Ares stood back and laughed, Athena and Odysseus stood back to back as they fought the undead skeleton warriors, Odysseus swung his sword and cut off the skeletons head and watched as it fell to its knees and turned into a pile of bones , "a weakness , cut off their heads my goddess" said Odysseus to Athena, they kept fighting the undead skeleton warriors cutting off their heads one by one.
Moments later the skeleton warriors were just a pile of bones then Ares roared loudly as he became enraged, "you will not leave here alive Odysseus" shouted Ares as he started to charge towards Odysseus , Athena and Odysseus charged forward together towards Ares and said "we'll see about that"...
