Odysseus & Athena: Part 1: Blood in the Sand

The Atlantean

Wellknown Ace
Odysseus sailed across the Aegean sea on his journey as the sun shone brightly , the sea sparkled in the sunlight as Odysseus looked down into the sea watching the fish swimmer along through clear blue water and through the colourful reef. Odysseus and his crew sailed east towards Santorini and after a few days they had finally arrived, they anchored the ship and went ashore, they walked towards the rocky cliffs and saw a group of Persian soldiers attacking the nearby village , "alright men , let's show these Persians what we can do" said Odysseus.

Odysseus and his crew drew their swords and charged into the village and got into battle formation, "over here Persians" shouted Odysseus, the Persian soldiers charged toward Odysseus and his crew wielding their swords, Odysseus and his men raised their shields and stood their ground as the Persian soldiers came closer and closer, the Persian soldiers almost on top of them Odysseus ordered his men to hold their position. "Charge now" commanded Odysseus , Odysseus and his men charged forward swiftly the Persian soldiers crashing into their shields and falling to the ground.

Odysseus swung his sword through the air cutting down any Persian that got in his way , his crew followed his lead as they cut down Persian soldiers one by one , their blood dripping on the sand, the battle raged on but the Persian's were no match for Odysseus and his men. Odysseus thrust his sword through the Persian leaders heart piercing it , the rest of the Persian soldiers charged towards him as Odysseus's men charged forward slashing their swords and thrusting their spears through the air striking the enemy Persians down killing them.

A shirt time later Odysseus and his men were disposing of the bodies throwing them into a pile and setting them alight , they then walked into the village where they were welcomed as heroes. The villagers organised a festival in their honour and feast later in the evening , music filled the air as Odysseus and his men enjoyed the festivities, later that evening they attended the feast, Odysseus and his men chewing on cooked lamb , olives and bread as they were served wine , the sun set and Odysseus and his crew stayed the night at the village and talked and planned their next journey for a few hours and then got some much needed rest.

Woww Very excited for part 2 but is this story a part of Iliad or the Odyssey?? But am guessing it's the part of Odyssey where the great Odysseus is in a sea-journey and trying to meet Achilles

You've written an epic tale in true Homeric style — full of heroism, adventure, and a good ol’ sword fight at sunset

Actually it's not part of the Odyssey or the Iliad , I'm using the Odyssey as inspiration to create my own version :Laugh1:
