to create a scenario, a ios user should send photo to android user on zozo, then android user should save that photo and then check its info on online exif viewer.

It’s been a while since we shared an update about the new features and improvements we’ve added.

A few months ago, we faced a serious incident: one of our users’ location and device details were exposed without any hacking or account breach. This raised a big question: how could someone access GEO information just through a shared image?

After a deep investigation, we discovered the culprit: EXIF data the hidden metadata embedded in every photo that can contain GPS coordinates, device info, and more. You can read the full article here:

EXIF Data Exposes Privacy – Beware and Take Heed

Most chat platforms don’t automatically remove EXIF data when you upload or share pictures. Only a few major networks like Facebook and Google do it on the fly.

That’s why we decided to step up and from our last silent update, ChatZozo automatically strips EXIF data from every uploaded image. This means no one can extract your GPS location, device type, or photo timestamp anymore.

So while others might try to get sneaky and pull private info from your pictures, they’ll find nothing here.

We may be an adult chat platform, but your privacy and safety will always come first. We’re here to make sure your fun stays safe, private, and drama-free.
