People who practice self-compassion (owning their mistakes without calling themselves as failures) bounce back faster, stay more motivated, and pursue long-term goals more consistently than chronic self critics.
Eventhough we plan a schedule not to waste a second and work hard, practically it wouldn't work (Deep down you knew it already).
Coz we are humans and not robots.
The hormonal changes - to feel happy ,sad , lazy, active ,lusty, etc etc..also plays a role in the pursuation of goals..
For an hour you will stay motivated, and later you may feel low(because of some situation which happen beyond your control).
So our success depends only on the perspective of how we see the world & handle to stay sustainable.
It's done by:
Hold yourself accountable for your choices. Drop the drama and excuses. But also drop the self-hate and talk to yourself like someone you’re responsible for, not someone you despise.
