The next day 21:47 pm...
Talia and Daniel were standing at the edge of the clifftop as the storm raged on around them, "how is the storm still going" said Daniel. "I do not know my love, it is unusual weather for this time" said Talia, a few moments later Talia and Daniel shivered a little as the wind blew stronger than before, "why has it gotten cold" said Daniel, "we should not be feeling the cold we are vampires.." said Talia.
A moment later they turned around and looked behind them and saw a dark figure standing there in front of them as the rain fell hard and fast. The dark figures hooded robe moved in the wind as he held out his hourglass, "is that who I think it is..." Said Daniel, "yes my love it is Death.." said Talia, "yes I am Death, the sands of time are running out for you" said Death as he held his scythe in his right hand.
"Who's time is running out?" Asked Daniel, "your time draws near" said Death as he turned his head towards Daniel and then towards Tali. " We shall not die.." said Daniel. "You cannot prevent it..." Said Death, "how much time is left..." Said Talia, Death showed them the hourglass as the sands trickled through it, "I do not understand, how are we going to die?, there is nothing here except for you" said Daniel.
"You are mistaken" said Death as he turned around and pointed towards a man that was walking towards them, "no it cannot be..." Said Talia. "He would never harm us, he is our friend..." Said Daniel as the man continued walking towards them, "hello Talia and Daniel..." said the man in the hooded robe, "hello again" said Daniel, "are Rose and Kassandra with you Altair?" Asked Talia.
"No they are at home, I came to see you.." said Altair, "has something happened?" Asked Daniel, "Kassandra has betrayed me..." Said Altair. "What do you mean?" Asked Talia, "I came home one night to find her in bed with someone I thought was my friend.." said Altair as he reached around behind him and grabbed a crossbow, Death stood there silently and watched.
Altair loaded his crossbow and then pointed it at Talia, "why are you doing this?" Asked Daniel, "Kassandra must be punished for what she did, but she is immortal so I cannot kill her" said Altair. Daniel stepped in front of Talia and pleaded to Altair not to hurt her, "do something..." Said Talia, "I cannot interfere only watch and wait.." said Death as Talia and Daniel moved backwards towards the edge of the cliff.
Altair's red eyes glowed and then he fired the crossbow, a golden arrow flew through the air towards Daniel as he protected Talia. A few moments later the golden arrow hit Daniel and impaled his chest and penetrated his heart, "ugh.." mumbled Daniel as he fell to the ground, "please do not leave me my love" said Talia, "I love you Talia.." said Daniel as his body began to disintegrate.
A few moments later Daniel was nothing but a pile of ashes, "you killed him..." Said Talia as she kneeled on the soaking wet ground. Death had claimed Daniel but there was still one more death to go, "get up now" said Altair as he reloaded his crossbow, Talia stood up and the rain splashed on her face as she looked towards Altair, "Death has come for you, now face him" said Altair as he aimed his crossbow at Talia.
