Later that day 20:29 pm...
Talia and Daniel had returned to their hotel in the city and got some rest after the strange occurrences at the temple of Karnak. The streets of Cairo were packed full of people as they rushed to get back to their homes for the night, as Talia and Daniel rested in their hotel room a gust of wind pushed the balcony doors open, Talia and Daniel suddenly awoke to see the balcony doors open and the curtains moving in the wind.
Daniel got up and closed the balcony doors and then sat on the bed, "must have been a strong wind" said Daniel, "that is the second time a gust of wind has come from nowhere" said Talia. "Let us get back to sleep my love" said Daniel as he lay down next to Talia, a few minutes later they drifted off to sleep and the sun had set as people continued to rush to their homes.
The next morning 9:37 am
Talia and Daniel were back on board the steamboat as it sailed down the river Nile towards the valley of the king's, "we will reach land soon" said the Captain. As the steamboat moved across the sparkling water a shadow appeared and began to follow it, are you alright Talia?" Asked Daniel as he saw her looking at the river, "there is a shadow there, I am sure it is following us" said Talia.
The Captain overhead them talking and looked out of the window to see for himself, a moment later the Captain's eyes widened and then he said "the curse it is the curse!". Suddenly the Captain increased the steamboat's speed to get away from the shadow, "I'm sure it's nothing" said Daniel, a few minutes later the shadow that was following them suddenly vanished.
Two hours later...
The boat had docked at the edge of the river and Daniel and Talia stepped onto dry land, "the valley of the king's is not to far from here" said the Captain as he pointed them in the direction they needed to go. They thanked the Captain and a few minutes later the steamboat suddenly sailed away, "hey wait, come back!" Said Talia, "it seems we are stuck here for now" said Daniel as he and Talia started walking towards the valley.
As Daniel and Talia walked towards the valley of the king's the sky began to grow a little dark, "why is it getting dark all of a sudden" said Daniel. A moment later they looked up and saw that an eclipse was taking place, "an eclipse, I have a bad feeling about this" said Daniel as they continued to walk onwards towards the valley of the king's, a short time later they had finally reached the valley.
"Amazing!" Said Daniel as he looked at the valley, several moments later a cloud of black smoke appeared in front of them. "What is happening?" Said Talia as the cloud of black smoke began to transform, "I do not know get behind me" said Daniel, a few moments later the cloud of black smoke had gone and there in front of them stood a man in tattered robes.
The man's tattered robes and bandage's moved in the wind, his eyes as black as night and his body decayed and almost skeletal. "What is that!?" Said Talia, "it is a mummy!" Said Daniel, the mummy let out a disturbing eerily sounding moan and started moving towards them, the smell of rotten flesh and filled the air as flies buzzed around the mummy, "ugh the smell is awful" said Daniel as the mummy moved ever closer towards him and Talia.
"We must defeat the mummy!" Said Talia, "I do not know how to defeat it.." said Daniel, a moment later the mummy opened it's mouth and unleashed a swarm of fly's. The fly's swarmed through the valley of the king's as the mummy followed Talia and Daniel to the harbour, there is nowhere to go" said Talia as the mummy blocked their escape, then suddenly Daniel transformed into his other form and then attacked the mummy.
"Be careful!" Said Talia as Daniel and the mummy battled around the harbour, the mummy unleashed a stream of black coloured smoke towards Daniel. "Ahh!" Shouted Daniel as the stream of black smoke hit him, Daniel moved forward slowly pushing his way through the black smoke towards the mummy, a moment later the mummy groaned and whispering voices echoed all around them.
"Ugh, the mummy is powerful.." said Daniel as he fell to his knees, "Daniel!" Said Talia as she watched the mummy's stream of black smoke envelop Daniel.
