Three days later...
It was 21:00 pm and the moon glowed high above in the night sky as Talia and Daniel joined in with the annual Trinity Hale spring faire. The town square was filled with market stalls, games and villagers, Talia and Daniel played a few of the games and then bought some decorations for their home, then a few minutes later a loud howl echoed throughout the town.
The villager's began to panic as the howling continued, "remain calm everyone I am sure there is nothing to worry about" said Daniel as he tried to reassure the villager's. A moment later a villager pointed towards the east side of the town and said "there's something there amongst the trees!", "what is it?" Said Talia, "I don't know but it was big and black" said the villager.
"I cannot see anything" said Daniel as he looked towards the trees, a minute or so later a pair of red eyes appeared in the shadows and glimmered in the moonlight. "There is something there!" Said Amy Lakewood the blacksmith's wife, then suddenly the sound of growling began and the red eyes moved towards the town square, "is that a wolf..." Said Daniel as something began to emerge from the shadows.
"No...it's a werewolf!!, everyone get away from here and go to your homes" said Talia, a moment later the werewolf leapt out towards Daniel and Talia and then stared at them. The villager's ran through the streets of Trinity Hale and towards their homes as Talia and Daniel stood there in front of the werewolf, suddenly the clouds blocked out the moonlight and the werewolf began to transform.
After a couple of minutes the werewolf had gone and a man kneeled on the cobblestone ground, "are you alright?" Asked Talia as the man breathed heavily. "I'm fine thank you" said the man as he slowly stood up, "what is your name?" Asked Daniel, "my name is Asterius North, I came back home three day's ago from visiting my sister in Blackrose Haven" said Asterius
"Well I am Daniel and this is Talia my wife" said Daniel, "nice to meet you, but you might want to run.." said Asterius as the moonlight began to emerge from behind the clouds. A few moments later Asterius had began his transformation, Talia and Daniel moved back slowly towards the town hall, "we must be careful my love, werewolves can kill us.." said Talia as she held Daniel's hand.
A short time later the transformation was complete and Asterius had become the wolf once again, Asterius unleashed a loud almighty howl as the moonlight shone upon him. "Hold these, I shall protect you my love" said Daniel as his eyes glowed red and his fangs emerged, a few moments later Daniel and Asterius rushed towards each other and then grappled.
Asterius tried to rip Daniel's head off with his razor sharp teeth as they grappled each other, "do not do this Asterius, do not let the curse control you" said Talia as Daniel and Asterius continued to fight. Asterius swiped at Daniel and his claws tore through his clothes, "stop this!, I do not want to kill you" said Daniel as he pushed Asterius back a little, a moment later Daniel threw Asterius through a market stall smashing it to pieces.
A moment later Asterius unleashed a loud eerie howl and then leapt towards Daniel, "watch out!!" Said Talia, Asterius attacked Daniel in a frenzy as he shredded his clothes more. "Do what I taught you my love" said Talia, a moment later Daniel threw Asterius into the ground and began to transform into something new that Talia had taught him, his fangs grew a little longer and sharper.
Then a pair of large black wings emerged from his back and his nails became sharper, a few moments later Daniel and Asterius collided and crashed through another market stall. Talia put the item's that she was holding down and began to transform herself, as Daniel and Asterius battled fiercely, Talia's fangs grew longer and sharper and then black wings emerged from her back.
A few moments later Talia joined Daniel and battled by his side, Daniel and Talia clawed at Asterius as he defended himself. The moon glowed a little brighter and then suddenly Asterius grabbed Talia and Daniel by their necks and unleashed an earth quaking growl, Asterius's razor sharp teeth dripping with saliva as he looked at Talia and Daniel squirming in his grip.
A moment later Asterius's grip became weaker as the cloud's began to block out the moonlight, Asterius started to transform back to human form once again. Several moments later Asterius fell to his knees as Talia and Daniel stood over him. "Please... please kill me...I'm so tired..." Said Asterius, Talia reached for her silver dagger and held it firmly in her hand.
Daniel grabbed Asterius by the neck and lifted him up as Talia raised her hand ready to strike with her silver dagger.
