Muted in chatroom

Hi,

My id: Aniket22 has been muted in the chat room.

I made an update recntly, to change the id from Anikett2 to Aniket22 as I wanted to keep the id consistent in forum and chatrroom.

Post this my id Aniket22 seems to be muted in chat room.

I have raised this issue here:

Looks like some troubleshooting was done, however the issue still persists.

I am raising the issue here to bump the thread as I not am sure where else to raise the same.

Could someone please help resolving the issue.

One thread is enough no need of multiple times
 
did you use some other name? also are you SURE you cleared your cache and cookies? cause your name Aniket22 and IP shows up NOWHERE in the system. when you clear the cache and cookies and make sure your browser is up to date, then I want you to go to the sign in page, and refresh it 4 times in a row, THEN sign in.
 
As I mentioned earlier, I updated it from Anikett2 to Aniket22.

I think that's when I started seeing the issue.

To be clear , I am able to sign in with Aniket22 (as shown in screenshot), its only posting the messages on wall which is the problem.

Yes I am pretty sure I cleared the cache and multiple times.

I am using a chrome browser on mobile device not sure if it makes any difference.

Let me try you troubleshooting steps again.
 
so, you DIDNT clear your cache and cookies huh? since i just saw you in log in. :facepalm: and it works now. :doh:

I did clear the cache and did so multiple times.

The issue is not with login. The login always worked .

The issue is posting messages on wall in chat rooms.

Which I tried again with uninstall and reinstall browser. Tried with Firefox as well.

Still the same issue. Not login but post messages on wall.

It keeps saying I am muted as shown in screenshot. This is post login.
 
you're not muted, you're not banned, you're not kicked, I dont know what to tell you other than its an issue on your end. Not with the site. :think:

Well that's not good.

I tried with different options and even with different browsers.

Any other suggestions? If not I am not sure what else I can try.

Maybe ceate a new id :( If so I guess I will have to use different email and then i may be risk of loosing my points linked isn't it?

And how long the mute usually applies?
Does it stay for long? Does it unmutes itself say after 24 hrs or something?

what I can do is delete your account there in chat. and You'll be able to reuse your email. be sure to check your spam folder for the verification. I've deleted that account. So start over and try again
