Each of these are classics and so many wonderful recommendations by other users.

Its really hard to pick 3 movies.

But my recommendation will be purely and specifically science fiction genre and those are:

1. Back to the future.
2. ET (exta terrestrial)
3. Interstellar ( All of Christopher Nolan's work tbh)

Back to future and interseller are the greatest movie of that gonre..specially I've watched Intersteller more than 3 times.

Prestige directed by nolan sir is also a very good movie but may be it is underrated.
 
Maharaj is a good movie as a "symbuolit" cinematography..a few movie is in bollywood which is like this.
