Mobile gaming isnt dying, its shifting direction. Casual, ad heavy games are slowly losing interest, while high quality competitive games and esports are growing fast, especially with large audiences and tournaments. Its less of a fall and more of a transformation.

There are issues like ads and repetitive games, but the audience is still huge, especially in countries like India. With better phones and growing esports, mobile gaming is slowly getting stronger in its own way

It's exploding in scale, especially in markets like India, where it's outpacing PC/console gaming in sheer player numbers and revenue. ads in free apps annoy everyone, pay-to-win mechanics feel unfair, and battle royales like PUBG Mobile clones are everywhere.
