Epic Legend
The centaur's has Hercules and Odysseus surrounded and just as they were about to fire their arrows , "Flash"... A burst of bright red and gold light flashed around them. Suddenly a beautiful woman in battle armour appeared beside Hercules and Odysseus , "How dare you attack these heroes!!" Said the woman , "Athena!" Said Odysseus , "do not worry , these centaur's will regret attacking you" said Athena , moments later the centaur's fired their arrows towards Hercules and Odysseus.
Suddenly the arrows had stopped in mid air , "these heroes are protected by me and Zeus" said Athena as her eyes glowed , "retreat or die..." Said Athena. The centaur's ignored her and rushed forward towards Hercules and Odysseus , within a few seconds Athena unleashed an almighty energy blast , the energy blast hit the centaur's flying through the air and then crashing down into the ground hard , the centaur's were stubborn and tried to attack again.
Athena turned the floating arrows around and aimed them at the centaur's , "get back" said the leader of the centaur's , "try to attack again and I will not hesitate to kill you all" said Athena. Moments later the centaur's grumbled and then retreated deep into the pine forest , "thanks for your help Athena" said Odysseus , "haha I'm sure we could have beaten them ourselves" said Hercules as he flexed his muscles and smiled , "yes I'm sure you could , but the centaur's do not normally attack hero's" said Athena.
"Well maybe there's more to it than that , maybe something had scared the centaur's before we arrived here" said Odysseus , "hmm that might possible" said Athena. Hercules, Odysseus and Athena walked a little further into the pine forest until they reached a river , "I must go back to Mount Olympus now but I may see you soon" said Athena , moments later Athena vanished in a flash of red and gold light as she went back to Mount Olympus.
"Ok let's follow this river and see where it leads" said Odysseus , Hercules and Odysseus travelled onwards as they followed the river towards their next destination , a couple of hours later a thick fog had filled the area ahead of them , "ah I can't see anything in front of us" said Hercules , "I have a feeling something is waiting for us somewhere in that fog" said Odysseus , "yes you may be right , let us draw our swords" said Hercules.
Hercules and Odysseus drew their swords and walked deeper into the thick fog and wondered what lay in wait for them...
