Pain — whether from heartbreak, betrayal, loss, or failure — rarely disappears without a trace. We move forward, yes. We laugh again, make new friends, chase new dreams. Healing isn’t always about forgetting. Sometimes, it’s about adjusting. Like learning to walk with a limp after a wound that never fully closed. We don’t cry about it anymore, but that doesn’t mean it never hurt. The scar becomes a silent reminder of a battle fought — and survived.
