Ulagathula Evlo Ponnunga Irunthum Na Yen Jessie ah Love Panen.. what a way to a start a film . 12 years of Vinnai thandi varuvaya and why this movie is celebrated still now .
There would be lot of Jessie's for the karthik's out there who despite all the pain would say "Inga ena soluthu Jessie Jessie nu solutha " that's what works so well the dialogues and the way it has been expressed .
After all the arguments she would come like nothing has happened (Ethuvume nadakatha mathi vanthu nippa ena sola pora Jessie nu thonum ) that's how she is .. when she says I hate you and Karthik says thank you there was little disappointment in her face because she knows that Karthik has found out that hate you is fake .
There has been so many references to the how the girl dad is
"My dad is such a nice Man , he will even give his properties if asked for but won't give her daughter in marriage "(jessie)
"He has grown 6'3 little bit of knowledge and understanding would have also grown (Karthik)
"Convince your father and come I'll show you how to live " (Karthik)
"It's better that you hate me then they hating me (Jessie saying about her parents )
It's always that girls weakness is their dad , they love their dad and ready to accept life in order to not hurt their dad.
There was a moment. She was ready to take the leap, leaving everything, everyone behind for him, perhaps for the first time. But that moment drifted away — like the long, fable-like night in Alappuzha, where they shared their first real kiss. “This is over. Please forget,” she texts him, on the pretext of walking out of his life. But he’s here. He’s come all the way. For her. It’s always been her. That’s the problem.
There’s pleasure in suffering, she knows. In fact, she treasures it. (Enaku Vali romba pidikum Karthik , intha vali enaku pidichu iruku )
They talk it out. They argue. They debate, endlessly. And they part ways. He’s naturally perplexed. Because one day she smiles and the next day, she glares. She pushes him out of her life. (Orunal sirithen marunal veruthen
Unainan kollamal kondru puthaithenae

While at it, she asks him a question that he himself had been trying to find an answer for, for the longest time: “There are a thousand women out there, why did you fall for me?”(ulagathila evalo ponnunga irunthum yena yen love pana Karthik )
His world just collapsed in front of his eyes. Nobody except her can hurt him, he knows. Maybe that’s why her seemingly innocent question pierces his heart, like a dagger. But he doesn’t show that. He’s a tough guy, boxer to be precise. A faint smirk escapes his face, as she closes the gate.

Can we decide whom we fall in love with?We can't go in search of love...lt won't last lt has to happen ofits own accord...lt has to hit us...make us spin topsyturvy! lt has to be with us...always That's true love...lt happened to me...Actually l didn't choose Jessie...That love hit me!(Kaatdhala thedi poga mudiyathu, adhu nilaikathu. Adhuva nadakanum, namnala pottu thaakanum, thala keezha potu thirupanum, epovumae kodave irukanum. Adhan true love.”)
When you are in love at a tender age and you see dailogues like this damn this guy has to be true is what you feel
So why does this is story become a cult classic because it's your story as much as mine
The best part of the movie is the central park scene .Jessie never met Karthik on Brooklyn Bridge. If you come to think of the plausibility of events, it might even come across as absurd and unrealistic. Life doesn’t give you second chances. But, for a second, Gautham Menon convinced us that it does. He made us believe that they live happily ever after just to make you realise that's the scene from the karthik's movie and the end credit goes saying thank you Jessie this movie is because of you..
The movie cannot be complete without the music and my man ARR those bgms and songs would last for another 100 years everytime the guitar strings it sends a vibration of Jolts through our heart "Love has only one tune Music has only one religion...To me it is ONLY Jessie!"
