Favoured Frenzy
The universe stretches, endless and wide,
With galaxies spinning in silent pride.
Stars are born and fade into night,
Carving the cosmos with ancient light.
Black holes whisper in gravity’s song,
Time itself can feel so long.
Planets dance in orbits unseen,
Bathed in silver, blue, and green.
And yet...
Among all this wonder, vast and true,
My eyes still search — and land on you.
You, not a star, yet brighter than all,
Making constellations feel small.
You're the gravity I can't defy,
The quiet pull beneath my sky.
The echo in each stellar tune,
The reason I notice the phases of the moon.
In a universe of a million whys,
You are the answer that never dies.
So if I ever seem lost in the blue—
I’m not.
I'm just marveling...
That in this infinite universe,
I found you.
