I had no idea that this day would turn out to be one of the most beautiful chapters of my life.
My heart was already racing — I was just two minutes away from walking into my final viva. Nerves. Pressure. A mix of fear and hope. That’s when I got a call from Alexa. I was standing right in front of the viva room. She and @Darky were on the line.
“Where are you?” they asked.
“I’m going in… just two minutes left,” I replied.
“Okay, when are you planning to leave for your hometown?” they continued.
I said, “Right after the viva. I’ll go pack my things. My family will come and pick me up.”
They said “Okay,” and hung up.
Nothing felt out of the ordinary.
Two hours later, my phone rang again — “Where are you?”
I said, “At the hostel…”
And before I could even process anything… they were there. Right in front of me. With smiles, warmth, and a kind of love I never knew I needed so much.
That moment — that surprise — was everything.
From a girl who never had a heartfelt send-off…
From someone who didn’t grow up with close souls by her side…
This was everything I never had — and everything my heart silently longed for.
To my sweetest brother, and my dearest best friend — thank you. You made me feel seen, loved, and truly special.
