Rain still pounding the windows...

The room is quieter now.
Bloodstains are gone...
Bandages clean white.
Only the rhythm of the ventilator and the slow beep… beep… beep…
DR. MEENAKSHI (exhausted, dark circles) stands at the foot of the bed.

He places the chart back, looks at the patient one last time.
He switches off the main light.
Only the green monitor glow remains on the patient’s calm face.
FADE OUT on the rain.

STATUS: DEEP COMA → WAITING”

INT. TRAUMA ICU – DAY 21 – MORNING
Monsoon-la first break...Sunlight weak-ah window-la varudhu.
The patient is no longer on ventilator.
Tube ellam remove pannitaanga.
Bandages full-ah clean. Scars mattum light silver lines-a irukku.
Breathing normal. Heart rate steady 62 bpm.Aana kannu innum open pannala.
DR. RAGHURAM :stands alone with the bed....Chart-a final-a close pannuran.
DR. RAGHURAM (soft, to the patient) :
21 days da… hospital record break pannita. Wounds full heal. Organs perfect.Aana nee ezhundhukala..Police-kum vendam, media-kum vendam…Inime en veetla dhaan irukkanum.
He turns to the nursing station.
DR. RAGHURAM Discharge summary ready pannunga.
Destination: My residence.
Patient name… leave it blank.
Responsibility: Dr. Raghuram – personal.
NURSE (shocked)

Big garden. Rain just stopped.

ventilator standby, monitors, oxygen cylinder, everything ready.
They shift the patient to a proper bed near a big window.
