If I were being completely serious, I'd probably ask:
"When life gets difficult, will you choose to communicate with me, or quietly give up on us?"
But realistically... I'd be way more likely to ask:
"Can you match my freak and tolerate all the random spanks you're about to receive throughout the day?"
