(reacted, locked the screen, hugged my pillow, tears rolling but slept.)
Next morning woke up to a missed call.
But i chose to text..
Me:
Thank you, dear.
Him:
I tried calling.
Did I wake you?
Me:
Not really
Him:
I wanted to be your first wish anyway,
but you didn’t let me.
And why are you so distant lately?
Me:
You are my first wish.
And I guess I didn’t want to be a reason
you hesitate in life.
I didn’t want you choosing differently
just because I exist.
Him:
You think you’d hold me back?
Me:
I think you’re kind enough to carry people.
And..
Him:
But it hurts when you pull away.
Me:
I know and it’s mutual.
But sometimes love can exist
without pursuing the person.
Also I have my answers.

even the deepest, darkest parts.
And you notice changes.

The window stayed still.
