Epic Legend
Odysseus and his crew ended up staying on Aeolus for a few weeks sharing stories and having feasts , "thank you for letting us stay here" said Odysseus. "It was my pleasure , I have a gift for you" said the keeper , Odysseus looked a little surprised as the keeper handed him a sack , he asked him what was inside the sack , "the sack contains a powerful wind , it will help you if your ship becomes becalmed" said the keeper , Odysseus thanked the keeper and a few minutes later he and his men left the palace and walked back to their ship and boarded it.
Odysseus and his crew set sail across the sea as it shimmered beneath the morning sun , Odysseus put the sack down then sat down and rested his eyes. Later that day his crew became curious as they wondered what was inside the sack , moments later one of the crewmen picked up the sack and started to open it , "wait don't open it" shouted Odysseus , but it was to late... the powerful winds inside the sack escaped and surrounded the ship.
The winds were as powerful as a hurricane , the waves started crashing against the ship making it rock side to side , the powerful winds blew against the sail and pushed the ship back towards Aeolus. The powerful winds had gone and Odysseus and his crew started to sail onwards once again , several days later they saw an island just ahead of them , "let's stock up on food and water on that island" said Odysseus , an hour later they had arrived at the island and went ashore.
They were greeted by a woman who told them they could find food and water at the palace stop the hill , Odysseus and his crew walked through the field and up the hill until they reached the palace. Odysseus and his crew walked inside the palace , suddenly a group of people stood in front of them , "ah you're just in time for the feast" said a strange man , Odysseus noticed some human body parts laying on a table beside a large fire pit.
"Run men , they're cannibals!!" Shouted Odysseus , they ran out of the palace as fast as they could and ran towards the shore , the group of cannibals chased after them. "Don't let them escape" said the leader , as Odysseus and his crew ran towards the shore the cannibals started to throw stones at them , stones flew through the air and hit many of Odysseus's crew killing them , Odysseus and his remaining crewmen reached their ship and sailed away as fast as they could.
Odysseus and his crew sailed onwards leaving the island of cannibals behind , they travelled towards the west for a few days until they reached another island. Odysseus told most of his crew to stay behind and guard the ship as he and a few other crewmen searched the island , Odysseus and the few men he took with him walked through the forest for an hour until they saw a stone building in the clearing in front of them.
They stopped and looked around carefully , moments later they spotted a few wolves and lions sitting around near the building , Odysseus and his men slowly walked towards the building. The lions and wolves started walking towards them coming closer and closer , suddenly the lion's and wolves sat down and rolled around as they acted like puppies and kittens , "hmm strange I've never seen lion's and wolves act like this before" said Odysseus.
A few minutes later a beautiful woman came out of the building and said "welcome friends I am Circe" , she showed them into her home and they sat down around the fire , "so tell me about yourselves" said Circe as she held an apple and smiled at them...
