Epic Legend
I walked through the dark alleyways as the rain fell hard and fast
Thunder rumbled and lightning flashed amongst the clouds
I stood amongst the shadows as the rain dripped off my hood
The wind grew stronger as I waited beneath the blossom tree for my lover
Finally my lover had arrived as she emerged from the darkness
She came ever closer towards me as lightning struck the clock tower
We stared into each others eyes as the raindrops dripped off our hoods
I took her hand and held it as we walked through the darkness
We walked onwards until we reached the lamp lit streets
Me and my lover climbed atop the bridge and stood there
Our hooded robes flowed in the wind as the thunder rumbled loudly
We breathed in sync as we prepared ourselves for the leap of faith
We held each others hands , took a deep breath then leaped off the bridge
As we fell through the air lightning struck the burst through the sky around us
Our hearts beat faster and harder as we continued to fall
The large pile of hay beneath us cushioned our fall
Me and my lover had survived the leap of faith
We walked into the darkness we became one forevermore
