Lynx , Valeria and Seraphi climbed off the horses and walked with them onwards through the whiteout , "I can't see a thing" said Lynx , "the bridge must be close" said Seraphi. Valeria took out her wand and fired a beam of red light ahead of her , "I see it , I see the bridge , follow me" she said , Lynx and Seraphi followed Valeria as the walked onwards and across the bridge , they walked through an archway and headed forward carefully , the whiteout faded a little and they could just about see the town in front of them.
"There's my home over there beside the well" said Seraphi , Lynx and Valeria followed her to her home and took the horses into the stable behind it. They left their horses inside the stable and then quickly went into Seraphi's House , Lynx and Valeria sat down beside the fire that Seraphi had lit and warmed themselves up , Seraphi made them some tea and passed it to them then sat down , Lynx and Valeria drank their tea as they got a little warmer.
Suddenly Lynx and Valeria's bodies started to become numb and their speech started to fail them , moments later they were paralyzed and Seraphi started to laugh. "Oh dear you can't move , how unfortunate...for you that is" said Seraphi , she took a wand out of her bag and pointed it at them , "you should have been more careful , tsk tsk" said Seraphi , "why....did...you" Mumbled Lynx , "why did I do this....I needed test subjects for my magical experiments" said Seraphi as her green eyes glowed.
Seraphi grabbed some potion bottles and a spell book from the shelves and placed them onto a table , moments later Seraphi pulled a curtain aside to reveal one of her failed experiments. "Such a shame about this failed experiment" said Seraphi as she pointed her wand at the mutated body in front of her , Seraphi fired a blast of magic at the mutated body and vaporised it , the mutated body burst into dust in front of her as Lynx and Valeria watched.
"It's your turn now , I do hope my experiment doesn't fail this time" said Seraphi , she made lynx drink one of her potions and used her magic on him. Lynx's body shook and his eyes glowed white as the magic and potion burned through his veins , Valeria watched as Lynx groaned in pain as the magic and potion continued to burn inside him , suddenly he began to move slowly and stood up , "how can you be moving , you should be paralyzed" said Seraphi with a look of shock on her face.
Lynx's eyes glowed bright white as electricity surrounded his body , he reached out and grabbed Seraphi by her neck and squeezed it a little , "you...chose...the...wrong person to... experiment on..." Said Lynx as his speech started to return. Lynx unleashed his new lightning powers and watched as his electrical energy burned through Seraphi's body , Seraphi screamed loudly as she felt the energy burn through her veins , Lynx lifted her into the air by her neck as he continued to use his new powers.
Moments later he let go of Seraphi's neck and watched her fall to the floor , Valeria started to move a little as the paralyzing potion from her tea started to wear off. Lynx picked Valeria up and held her close as he looked down at Seraphi , Seraphi's body lay there lifeless and heavily burned , moments later Lynx and Valeria left the house and walked towards the stable as the snow continued to fall , they walked into the stable and sat beside the horses , "I'd rather be in this stable than in that house" said Valeria.
Lynx nodded a little and held her close as the wind howled and the snow fell a little slower , "hopefully the weather will calm down soon , the we can get away from romiou mountains" said Lynx. Valeria held him tightly as the horses ate some of the oats from the feeders...
