Lynx and Valeria followed Celestia through the doors and entered the sanctuary , moments later Celestia's mermaid tail transformed into legs , suddenly Celestia's magic wore off. Lynx and Valeria breathing air again as they followed Celestia through the hall , the glass walls were lined with blue , green and pink lights around the edges , the lights shone bright almost blocking out the darkness of the abyss outside , Lynx and Valeria continued to follow Celestia towards the next room.
The guards opened the large door in front of them as they walked a little further , moments later right there in front of them was a large room with strange glowing plants and small orbs of light floating around. "This place is amazing" said Valeria , "so many colours in here" said Lynx , Celestia smiled as she showed them around a little more , they walked through the botanical garden and watched the aquafall's run down the edges of the room and into some small ponds.
Suddenly..."BOOM"...the ground shook beneath them , "what was that" said Lynx then moments later a guard burst in , "we're under attack" said the guard , seconds later the guard was impaled in the back by a diamond trident. Lynx drew his sword and twirled it in his hand then held it firmly as Valeria took out her wand , "show yourself" said Lynx loudly as Celestia hid behind the auradream rose's , blue smoke started to fill the room slowly as a man laughed beyond the doors.
Moments later the man walked through the blue smoke and pulled his diamond trident out of the dead guards body , "who are you" said Valeria as she pointed her wand towards him. "I am Alamar Al-Kalidh , master of Ascendant city " he said , Lynx charged towards Alamar and swung his sword through the air , Lynx's sword shattered into pieces as it collided against Alamar's diamond trident , Lynx slowly backed away from Alamar as he gripped his diamond trident firmly.
Valeria fired a large blast of magic from her wand firing it towards Alamar , Valeria's magic bounced straight off his diamond trident , "your weapons will not work" said Alamar Al-Kalidh. Valeria moved backwards and stood beside Lynx and held him close , Alamar moved closer towards Lynx and Valeria , his orange eyes glowed a little in the low light , "what can we do" said Valeria as she looked at Lynx , "there is nothing you can do , you are doomed..." Said Alamar Al-Kalidh as he started laughing like a madman and pointed his diamond trident towards them...
