Alexander and Lucy had finally made it to Meridia, they climbed off the horse and walked through the streets and went into the tavern and sat down for a little while and rested. After a few drinks and some food they left the tavern and walked to the market to buy some supplies where they met a woman selling magical items , "anything catch your interest" said the merchant , Lucy reached out and picked up a gold ring with a small onyx jewel design , "ah you have good taste , that ring increases magical powers" she said, Alexander paid the merchant a few gold coins as Lucy put the ring in her finger. The merchant asked if they wanted anything else then Alexander said, "maybe you would like to join us on our travels" , the merchant nodded "my name is Vanessa" she said as she packed her items and belongings and went with them. The trio walked around the city and went to the stables to get Vanessa's horse , they arrived at the stable and took her horse back to where Alexander had left his faithful steed lighting. Vanessa whispered to Alexander and Lucy , "I have a treasure map" she said, Alexander and Lucy watched as Vanessa took the map out of her bag and showed it to them, "there's a place two days northwest of meridia towards the mountains" she said. Alexander, Lucy and Vanessa climbed atop their horses and left meridia and headed northwest to the mountains, on their way to the mountains they stopped by a stream to rest for a few hours and refilled their water pouches then continued travelling towards the mountains. With the mountains in sight as the sun set they decided to stop and camp for the night and wondered what awaited them there , they ate some food by the campfire and talked for a few hours until they fell asleep...the next morning the clouds had come over and started snowing, "a storm is coming" said Vanessa with a look of worry on her face, "something bad is coming" they thought as they continued on towards the mountains...to be continued
