Hercules and Odysseus searched the town for clues trying to find out why the villagers had abandoned it , Hercules walked over spring near the centre of the town , "this spring water looks strange" said Hercules , Odysseus walked over to him and looked at the spring water and took a closer look , "there's a strange but faint glow in this water , it's been enchanted" said Odysseus, " no wonder the town is empty and that man was mad" said Hercules. Suddenly a burst of blue and gold light flashed in front of them and a man appeared, a long white beard his eye colour icy blue as water dripped down his chiseled body.
"Aha it is Poseidon god of the sea" said Hercules with a large grin on his face as Odysseus frowned then held his sword firmly as he backed away a little, Poseidon firmly grasped his golden trident and said, "don't worry Odysseus you are safe from my wrath...for now at least" , Hercules told Poseidon about the town and the madman and the enchanted water spring. Poseidon placed his hand against the water , his eyes glowing bright blue as the water started to glow and become clear , "I have purified the spring water and removed the enchantment" said Poseidon.
Suddenly a pillar of black fluid appeared in front of them and a dark figure with red eyes stood in front of them , "you have interfered in my business for the last time brother" said the dark figure, "ah Hades I should have known this was your doing" said Poseidon. Hercules and Odysseus slowly backed away as Poseidon gripped his trident firmly and Hades held his staff as it glowed blood red , "we might want to take cover Odysseus" said Hercules and then they jumped behind one of the large rocks nearby.
Suddenly dark clouds formed in the sky and lightning, rain and thunder started echoing through the town as Poseidon and Hades prepared for their battle.....to be continued in part 5
