The sun shines brightly over Thermopylae in ancient Greece as Hercules and Odysseus walk through the mountain pass towards their destination, they reach a small village under attack by bandits, "time to have some fun" said Hercules as he and Odysseus charged into the village and defended the villagers. Odysseus grabbed his sword and thrust it towards a bandit, his sword ran through the bandit's heart killing him instantly then suddenly another bandit charged at him , Hercules grabbed the man and swung him around like a ragdoll and threw him through the air and into the river that flowed by the village.
Hercules grabbed two bandits and smashed their heads against each other then threw them into the bushes, "haha , nice try bandit's" laughed Hercules as he raised his eyebrow and drew his sword. Odysseus and Hercules fought the group of bandits knocking them down one by one , suddenly a bandit said , "retreat, let's get out of here" as he and the remaining bandits ran away out of the village , "thank you for saving our village" said a beautiful woman, her long brown hair and green eyes shimmering in the bright sunlight, her long green dress flowing in the gentle breeze.
"My name's Lilia , welcome to our village" she said , Hercules and Odysseus helped the people clean up the village then Lilia invited them to a feast in their honour to thank them for their help. Later that evening Hercules and Odysseus met the villagers in the village market where there was a large table with food and drink aplenty, they sat down and started to eat , Hercules's teeth ripping through a roasted chicken leg as Odysseus ate some lamb stew , music filled the air as the wind blew gently making the flags ripple, after a few hours Lilia showed Hercules and Odysseus to a place they could rest for the night as they finished their drinks.
They went to their rooms and layed down on their beds as the cicadas started making noise, eventually they fell asleep, the next morning the sun rose into the sky casting a golden glow over the village, the river sparkling under the sunlight and the tree leaves moving in the gentle breeze. Hercules and Odysseus woke up and packed their things getting ready to travel onwards...to be continued in part 2
