A few weeks later...
It was just after sunset and Kassandra's sister Rose and her parents Talia and Daniel had arrived in Ashwood Hollow for their family holiday , "welcome to Ashwood Hollow" said Kassandra. "It was kind of you to let us stay with you" said Talia , "you can stay for as long as you need" said Kassandra as she brushed her hair away from her face and smiled. Talia , Daniel and Rose went upstairs and placed their luggage in the spare bedrooms.
A short time later Kassandra and her family sat around the table in the dining room talking , as they talked about their recent adventures snow began to fall thick and fast. "Look it is snowing" said Rose as she pointed towards the window , an hour later the snow had already settled and blanketed Ashwood Hollow , "shall we go out for a walk?" said Kassandra as she blew out the candles on the table , "yes let us go outside" said Talia.
Meanwhile at Ashwood Hollow Castle...
"It is time , I shall avenge my father's death" said Remus Frankenstein as he unlocked the large cage in his laboratory , his creation emerged from it's cage and howled loudly. "Come , it is time for my revenge" said Remus as he and monster left the Ashwood Hollow Castle , as Kassandra and her family walked through the snow filled streets and headed towards the park , a few minutes later Kassandra and her family had arrived at the park and brushed the snow of the benches.
They sat down on the benches as the leaves fell from the trees and the waterfall shimmered in the moonlight , suddenly Talia sensed something and said "it is here , it is somewhere close" , "what is?" Asked Kassandra. "The evil presence I had told you about back in Blackthorn Valley" said Talia , a few moments later Kassandra and her family stood up and looked around the park , "hmm I cannot see anything over mother" said Kassandra.
"There is nothing here sister" said Rose as Daniel and Talia walked closer towards the waterfall , suddenly a large almost decayed looking patchwork hound burst out of the shadows on it's two legs and howled. "What is that thing..." Said Talia as the hound moved closer , "get back now" said Daniel , a few moments later Professor Frankenstein emerged from behind his monstrous abomination , "who are you and what do you want" said Daniel as Talia ran towards Kassandra and Rose.
"I want revenge for what you did to my father!!" said Remus , "what are you talking about? , who is your father?" Asked Daniel , "my father was Doctor Frankenstein!! , I am his son Professor Remus Frankenstein" he said. Daniel looked at him in shock and said "we did not know he had a son" , "well here I stand and now it is your turn to die!" said Remus , a moment later Remus set his monstrous abomination loose to attack Kassandra and her family.
Daniel ran back to protect his wife Talia and his daughter's Kassandra and Rose but the monstrous hound chased after him , "leave my family alone" said Daniel as tackled the monstrous hound. As the snow slowed down a little the monstrous hound clawed at Daniel's face , it's claws sliced through his flesh and scarred him , "ahh , get them away from here Talia" said Daniel as he battled the monstrous hound , it was to late as Professor Frankenstein had blocked their escape and pointed a gun at them.
"You shall not be leaving I'm afraid , you will all die here" said Remus , the monstrous hound leapt through the air towards Talia and unleashed it's silver steel claws. "NO!!" Shouted Daniel as he moved fast like lightning and leapt in between his wife Talia and the monstrous hound , the hounds razor sharp steel claws slashed through Daniel's chest as he defended Talia , Daniel fell into the thick snow hard and groaned , "Daniel!!" Said Talia as she picked him up and moved him away from the monstrous hound.
"Rose look after our parents , I shall take care of this abomination" said Kassandra as she pulled her hood up and drew her sword and dagger , Kassandra let out a glass shattering battlecry and attacked the monstrous hound. She ducked and weaved and slashed at the abomination with her sword and dagger , the blades cut through the monstrous hound's rotten coloured flesh and made it bleed , dark green blood dripped from it's wounds as it continued to attack Kassandra.
Professor Frankenstein watched as his abomination tried to rip Kassandra apart and laughed maniacally , meanwhile Talia and Rose crouched down beside Daniel and looked at his wounds. "The wounds are bad but we can fix them" said Talia , "what do we need" said Rose as Kassandra continued to battle the monstrous hound , "blood...I need...blood..." groaned Daniel , Rose nodded as she knew what she had to do , Kassandra slashed and hacked at the monstrous hound again.
Kassandra cut off it's arm with her sword and thrust her dagger in and out of the monstrous hound's chest , "NO!!" shouted Professor Frankenstein. The abomination fell to it's knees and with one swift swing Kassandra cut off it's head and killed it , Remus shouted and fired a shot at her , the bullet flew through the air and hit Kassandra in the chest , as Kassandra fell down into the snow Rose grabbed Remus Frankenstein from behind and dragged him towards her parents Talia and Daniel.
A moment later Kassandra opened her eyes and said "I thought I was dead for a moment" , as she stood up she saw the bullet Remus had fired at her on the ground. The bullet was bent and melted a little snow around it , "the bullet must have bounced off me" thought Kassandra and then she ran towards her family and stood beside them , Rose and Talia forced Remus Frankenstein down onto his knees and a moment later Kassandra lifted her father Daniel up a little and helped him.
Daniel sank his fangs into Remus's neck and began to drain his blood , he took more and more blood and then tore his throat open , Remus's remaining blood splattered across the pure white snow and then Rose and Talia dropped his body. A moment later Daniel's wounds healed themself and he stood up , "let us leave this park and get some rest" said Kassandra , a few minutes later Kassandra and her family had left the park and walked to her home.
After they arrived at Kassandra's home she and her family sat on the chairs around the fireplace and relaxed , "are you ok father? , you could have died tonight" said Kassandra and Rose. "I am ok , there is no need for any of you to worry" said Daniel as he smiled at his wife and daughters , a few hours later they all headed towards their bedrooms and got some rest.
