The sun and the moon aligned and created the eclipse
A little sunlight creeped out around the edges of the moon
The strange light brought the shadows to life
Time moved slowly as the shadows shifted amongst the people
One rogue shadow broke away from the others
It searched for a host quickly before the eclipse could fade
The shadow moved swiftly towards the hooded man
Within seconds the shadow enveloped the man....possessing him...
The man's eyes glowed a little and then turned red
The man and the shadow became one being
"Kill them...unleash your rage upon them..." said the shadow
"No...I am an assassin but I protect the innocent" said the man
"Come on...let that darkness out...I know you want to" said the shadow
The assassin walked beneath the eclipse as darkness and light fought each other
He stood behind a stranger and reached out to him
"He's an innocent...I won't do it.." said the assassin
"I see deep into your mind....embrace the darkness it feels so good" said the shadow
The assassin fought the shadow inside him...
"I'm part of you...I'm never leaving...embrace the darkness" said the shadow
The assassin reached out towards the man a little more
Suddenly the eclipse began to fade and light began to emerge
The assassin hoped the shadow would leave him as the sun shone bright
The shadows voice had gone , the assassin walked through the streets until he reached home
Suddenly the shadow spoke , "I'm always here... there's no escape" whispered the shadow...
