Umm no cannot be agreed dear just bcz smoothies are yummy n tasty nd when i taste ketchup Everytime i feel eww why so salty!!

Logically speaking... yes! But also absolutely not.

A smoothie is typically a blend of fresh fruits (or veggies), often with yogurt, milk, or juice. Ketchup, on the other hand, is a heavily processed, vinegar-laden, sugar-packed sauce .
Its possible science might favor of “tomato smoothie,” common sense says, “NOT AT ALL"
Unless, of course, you want to start a new trend :smoking::cool:

Well in statement what you said is right that tomato is a fruit so ketchup should be a smoothie or not but yet again as Dom55 bro explained it rightly smoothie is a blend of fruits and sometimes veggies with yogurt or milk. Also I have been a visitor to a ketchup making plant once and you will be surprised to see the quality of tomatoes that's used there. Some good companies do quality control as well but the not so known ones even incorporate slightly rotten tomatoes in their ketchup as it's cheaper to source in the market.

Nope. Smoothies are more of a liquid. Ketchup is a jelly and you won’t change my mind on that. :giggle:

Hello and good evening Ms. . I will disagree on that cause ketchup is not a jelly. Jelly is made using gelatin to give it that jiggly set. Ketchup on the other hand is more of a viscous liquid. :)

Ketchup is not saltyyy lol :D
Ketchup does have a certain amount of salt , but the saltiness get's overpowered by the other ingredients like vinegar and other preservatives. I am planning to make ketchup at home very soon as and when I get the time and that too preservative free. Too many processed foods in the market are the cause of health issues nowadays. So much so even the namkeens and so called snacks or chakna as it is referred to in the "sharaabi" language is all processed and full of palm oil which is a major carcinogenic.
