Other language usage - need clear rules

A chat admin/mod kick for referring an other language song?!

Does he/she who kicked me for this wants me to translate the song while referring to it? It makes no sense.

Do we have a language policy?

Do we have guidelines for chat admin/mod for the basis of their actions?

Actions for using a single word or referring to songs sounds illogical.

I request a valid reason for this from the concerned admin/mod.

where did this happen? Each room in Indian chat clearly states what language is to be used. Of course english is acceptable in every room. Here in the forum its english ONLY except in the designated sections, or on your personal profile posts.

When you "converse" in different language it is right to take action.

But kicking someone for referring to an other language song is bit too insensitive.

It means even if you want to refer to the song, you want to translate its lyrics.

When a chat admin/mod takes action they should observe its usage. If other language is used to converse (more than two texts) it's fine.

Acting upon for using a single word or referring to songs doesn't make sense.

no, it doesn't make sense, a word or two isn't enough reason to get kicked out, especially if it's a song. I'll have a word with the individual and clear it up.

Still few concerns,

1. We don't know who that concerned person is and there is no word from them yet.

2. On what basis he/she felt entitled to kick.

3. To make things clear on both sides, we should have a guideline on what is considered a violation of language rules.

doesn't matter who it is, no offense but its none of your business, I know who it was cause I see every ban/kick/mute, so dont worry, I'll have a word with them. If I told you who it was, then you'll go on a rampage, spamming or harassing them etc etc. not saying you would but others would. So to maintain the peace we never reveal who did what to whom.
