It was a beautiful day as always at mount Olympus, Zeus played his games with his wife Hera as the other gods and goddess's watched , meanwhile Athena stood alone looking into her magical orb watching her favourite hero Odysseus sailing the Aegean sea on his new adventure. Athena walked over to the other gods and said "I'm going to travel with Odysseus" , "you want to travel with a mortal" said Zeus Athena with a look of determination on her face as Zeus and the gods looked at her , "very well Athena you may go" said Zeus. Meanwhile on the Aegean sea Odysseus sailed east towards his first destination then suddenly a burst of red and gold light flashed in front of him , "Athena" said Odysseus , "I have come to join you on your journey Odysseus" said Athena. Odysseus nodded in agreement then suddenly the wind speed increased moving the ship ahead faster through the waves , they sailed on for a couple hours and saw land just ahead of them, Odysseus steered the ship around the reef and stopped the ship near the coast. Odysseus and Athena climbed off the ship and walked across the beach then headed towards the forest, as they walked through the forest they could hear loud voices , they walked a little further and saw two men fighting each other. "Is that the best you can do" said one of the men heartily as his sword clanged against the other mans sword , "Hercules, getting into another fight I see" said Athena , Hercules looked at her and laughed , "you know me well Athena" he said as he thrust his arm forward and punched the man sending him through the air and into a tree. Athena and Odysseus walked over and greeted each other as the man ran away, they set up camp and talked for a while as they drank wine and ate some meat and bread , "what brings you here" said Hercules, "I'm on a journey exploring the Aegean" said Odysseus , "hahaha" laughed Hercules, "there are plenty of things to discover here" said Hercules. The sun set and the stars and moon shone brightly as they decided to rest for the night, the next morning they packed up their possessions and travelled onwards deeper into the forest keeping their wits about them....to be continued
