மரியான் Chruch ன் வெளியே நின்று கொண்டிருக்க,

பனி மரியானிடம்,

"என்ன பாக்க தானே வந்த?! "
என்று சிரித்துக் கொண்டே வம்பிழுக்க,

மரியான்,

"உன்னைய பார்க்க வந்தனா..
Hmm.. உன் கூட வந்தவள தான் பார்க்க வந்தேன்"

என்று பதில்மொழி சொன்னதும்,

"கூட நிக்கறவள எல்லாம் பாத்துட்டு இருந்தனா அப்பவே கொன்னு போட்டு இருப்பேன்"

என்று சொல்லிவிட்டு,

"உன் கண்ணுல அத நான் பாத்துட்டேன் என்னைக்கு இருந்தாலும் நீ எனக்கு தான்டா!!"

என்று சிரித்துக் கொண்டே செல்வாள்..



காதலிப்பதை மனம் மறைத்தாலும் கண்கள் தெளிவாக காட்டிக் கொடுத்து விடுகின்றன..

புயலில் மரியான் கடலில் மீன் பிடிக்க சென்று சில நாளை கரை திரும்பாத போது
பனி உயிரை கையில் பிடித்துக் கொண்டிருப்பாள்..
கடற்கரையே அவள் வீடாகிப் போயிருக்கும்..
கடல் நீரின் உப்பை விட அவள் கண்ணீரின் உப்பில் ஈரம் அதிகரித்திருக்கும்..



மரியான் திரும்பி வந்தவுடன் அவனைப் பார்க்கச் சென்றதும்,
மரியான் பனியிடம்,

"என்ன Loves aa..??Empty Groundu கெளம்பு கெளம்பு.."
என்று சொல்லிவிட்டு சென்று விடுவான்..

கடலில் மீன் பிடிக்கையில் ஒருவர்,

"காதல் மட்டும் மனசுல அலையா அடிச்சிட்டு இருக்கணும்" என்று போகிற போக்கில் சொல்லிவிட்டு போவார்..

ஆம், மரியானின் கனவில் பனி,
"நீ வந்து வந்து போயேன்
அந்த அலைகளை போல"
என்ற வரிகளாக
அடிக்கடி அலையடித்துக் கொண்டிருக்க,

இது கிட்டத்தட்ட காதல் தான் என்று உணரும் தருணம் பனி மரியானின் வீட்டிற்கு வருவாள்..

மரியானுடன்,

"வந்தா உன் கையுல மாட்டிக்குவேன் வளையலை போல"



என்ற வரிகளாக இதழ் முத்தம் பதித்து,
Empty Ground nu சொன்ன??
என்று கேட்பாள்..

மரியான்,
அதான் பட்டா போட்டல்ல என்று சொல்லி புன்னகைக்கும் தருணம்,
