The next morning Hercules had woken up and headed outside and heard the bird's singing as he felt the warm sunlight and gentle breeze against his skin. Minutes later Hercules packed up his camp and explored the ruins , as he walked across the floor of the ruins he suddenly heard a noise , a large stone tile on the floor moved to reveal a hidden passageway , Hercules walked down into the passageway and saw some small lights floating around a little further down the passage.
Hercules walked through the passage and mover closer to the little lights , "hmm fireflies , how did they get down here" thought Hercules , he walked onwards through the passageway until he reached a room. Suddenly the torches on the wall lit themselves as he entered the room , Hercules looked around the room and saw gold and gemstones laying there on the tables , he looked around a little more and saw another shelf filled with scrolls and a chest on top of the shelf.
Hercules reached out towards the chest on top of the shelf and then suddenly a burst of green light flashed beside him , a man stood beside him and said "do not touch anything in here , everything belongs to us god's and goddess's of Olympus" , "ah it's you Hermes , messenger of the gods" said Hercules as he smiled and placed his hand on Hermes shoulder. "Everything in this room is protected , if you touch anything the phantom will come after you" warned Hermes , "oh nonsense , there's no such thing as a phantom" said Hercules as he laughed and picked up one of the scrolls.
"Hercules don't touch that...." Said Hermes , suddenly the light's flickered and the room became cold , "I warned you Hercules , now the phantom is coming for you" he said. Hercules and Hermes heard the sound of wailing and screeching in the passageways as it came closer and closer towards them , suddenly a cloud of black smoke appeared outside the doorway....a dark spectral figure emerged from out of the ground and then floated there in front of them.
"It's the phantom" said Hermes as Hercules put the scroll back onto the shelf and drew his sword , Hercules and Hermes took a step back as the phantom moved a little closer towards them. It's pale white eyes glowed in the dim light as it reached it's arm out towards them...
