As Medusa moved closer and closer towards her Delphina quickly looked away to avoid her deadly gaze , suddenly Hercules smashed through a crack in a wall and tackled Medusa to the ground. Hercules looked away from Medusa's face as they grappled on the ground , Medusa sprang up and shook Hercules off her , Hercules and Delphina lifted their shields up in front of their faces to avoid Medusa's deadly gaze.
They moved around medusa as they gripped their swords firmly , suddenly Medusa lunged forward and reached out towards Delphina , her claws scraped against Delphina's shield. Hercules moved closer towards medusa as he walked around the statues , Medusa swung her tail towards him , Hercules rolled out of the way dodging her attack and stood beside Delphina.
Medusa's tail smashed through one of the statues and shattered it into pieces , Medusa looked straight towards Hercules and Delphina and tried to turn them into stone. "Keep Medusa distracted" whispered Hercules , Delphina moved closer towards Medusa and thrust her sword towards her , meanwhile Hercules moved through the shadows and quickly looked around the room.
"Hmm it's a dangerous idea but it might work" thought Hercules as he came up with a plan , Delphina continued to distract Medusa and then suddenly Hercules started punching the marble pillars around the room. Hercules punched the marble pillars one by one breaking them , moments later the pillars cracked and the room began to shake a little , the cracks moved upwards towards the ceiling , Hercules grabbed Delphina's hand and led her to the hole in the wall that he'd come through earlier.
They went through the hole in the wall and then Medusa started to follow them , suddenly the ceiling cracked more and then caved in , large chunks of stone fell down around Medusa blocking her path. Hercules and Delphina ran through the temple corridors as fast as they could until they reached the exit , "we made it" said Delphina as she and Hercules made it safely outside , they walked down the stairs and stood next to Pegasus who was waiting for them.
Meanwhile deep inside the temple...a pile of rubble moved and a hissing sound filled the room , Medusa had survived....
