Hercules and Delphina sat at the large table and started to eat , Hercules sank his teeth into some roasted lamb as Delphina ate her stew , music filled the streets as some of the citizens danced around the statue of Zeus. Delphina drank some wine as Pegasus took some fruit of the table , Pegasus chewed on his apple as Hercules grabbed more meat and some wine , "mmm this food is fantastic" said Hercules with a mouthful of food , moments later Delphina left an offering of fruit beside the statue of Zeus and then danced around a little while.
The feast continued for a few days so all of the citizens could attend , at the end of the fourth day Hercules , Delphina and Pegasus decided to move on and travelled towards their next destination. They walked across the rocky terrain and through the dark forest , several hours later they had stopped walking , "I don't recognise this place" said Hercules as he looked around....Hercules , Delphina and Pegasus were lost but continued to walk onwards.
A couple of hours later they had reached a river , the river was surrounded by a thick fog , Hercules looked around and saw a gong beside a rock , he grabbed the stick next to it and then hit the gong. The sound of the gong echoed across the river , "I don't like this place" said Delphina as she moved back a little and stood next to Pegasus , moments later a small boat appeared out of the thick fog and stopped at the edge of the river.
The ferryman wore a long black hooded robe...his skeleton hand held onto the oar as he lifted his head a little , the ferryman held his skeleton hand out , Hercules took a coin out of his pouch and placed it into the ferryman's skeleton hand. Hercules and Delphina climbed onto the boat and the ferryman rowed the boat through the thick fog across the river Styx , Pegasus flew into the air and followed them as the ferryman rowed onwards , a few minutes later they saw an island in front of them , there they saw an old ruined temple covered in ivy as they got closer.
Moments later Hercules and Delphina climbed off the boat and stood on the island as Pegasus landed beside them , "wait here Pegasus" said Hercules as he patted Pegasus's head. Hercules and Delphina walked up the stairs towards the ruined temple and then looked for a way inside , moments later Hercules had found the entrance hidden behind the ivy , "over here" said Hercules , Delphina walked through the entrance and into the temple , suddenly the entrance sealed itself shut.
Delphina tried to open the entrance but it wouldn't move , "I'll try to find a way inside" said Hercules from the opposite side of the entrance , Delphina had no choice but to walk onwards through the temple , the temple walls were lit up a little as torchlights filled the rooms , Delphina drew her sword as she walked through the temple slowly , moments later she saw pieces of stone and weapons laying on the ground , she picked up an old shield and raised it in front of her.
She walked a little further through the dimly lit temple as spiders crawled across the walls and then suddenly she heard a noise , "what was that noise" thought Delphina , moments later she heard the noise again , a hissing noise came from somewhere deeper within the temple. Delphina became scared and turned around and looked in every direction , "hisssss" the noise sounded closer now as she walked a little slower , a little steam filled the room as it became a little hotter.
Meanwhile outside...Hercules had found another entrance to the temple and walked inside , he drew his sword and shield and started to walk further into the temple as he looked for Delphina. The torchlights grew a little brighter as Delphina walked a little further and peeked around a corner of a wall , "hisssss" the sound was even closer now , Delphina gripped her sword and shield firmly as she saw a figure move amongst the shadows , a few beads of sweat dripped from her forehead as her heart raced.
Delphina moved a little closer and then saw stone statues around the large room in front of her , moments later she almost tripped over a small piece of stone , Delphina looked down and saw the small piece of stone and realised it was a stone hand. "Oh no , it's her...she's here..." Thought Delphina as she realised that the temple was Medusa's home , she moved back slowly and raised her shield a little then suddenly a pair of green glowing eyes appeared in the shadows.
"Oh no...she's seen me.." thought Delphina as a tear dripped from her eye and her heart beat faster , moments later Medusa burst out of the shadows and headed straight for her...
