Hercules and Odysseus had reached the shore and stood on the golden sand as the gentle breeze brushed against their skin , a few minutes later they decided to set up camp a few metres away from the beach. "It's peaceful here , I always liked being by the sea" said Odysseus as Hercules sat beside the campfire , Odysseus took some food and water out of his bag and shared it with Hercules , "thanks , I'm starving" said Hercules , "as far as I've noticed you're always hungry" said Odysseus as he smiled at him.
Hercules raised an eyebrow and then laughed , moments later Hercules sank his teeth into some olive bread and chewed it , suddenly the waves started to clash against the shore. "Hmm what's going on over there" said Hercules as the waves continued to clash against the shore , Hercules and Odysseus walked down to the beach and drew their swords , an enormous shadow moved beneath the waves as it came closer towards the shore.
Suddenly an enormous creature burst out of the water and roared , "it's the Kraken!!" said Hercules , "what's that?" Asked Odysseus , "the Kraken is Poseidon's favourite pet" said Hercules. "What's the Kraken doing here" said Odysseus as he and Hercules gripped their swords firmly , moments later a voice boomed from the sea... "You thought you could escape me Odysseus!!" Shouted Poseidon , moments later Poseidon ordered his Kraken to attack Odysseus.
The Kraken reached it's arm out and then thrust it down towards Odysseus , Odysseus jumped out of the way just in time before the Kraken could squash him. The Kraken's hand smashed into the sand hard making the ground shake , "why don't you fight me yourself instead of having someone else do it for you" shouted Odysseus as the Kraken swung it's arm around and tried to grab him , "what did you do to anger Poseidon" said Hercules.
"I was on an island once and I blinded his son Polyphemus the Cyclops to escape" said Odysseus , "is that all" said Hercules as Odysseus continued to dodge the Kraken's attacks. "Yes that's all I did , I let Polyphemus live" said Odysseus , moments later Hercules jumped onto the Kraken's arm and climbed up towards it's shoulder , Hercules threw an almighty punch at the Kraken , Hercules fist smashed into the Kraken's face hard making it stumble.
Poseidon grumbled to himself as he watched Hercules and Odysseus fight the Kraken , "do not interfere Hercules!" Shouted Poseidon , "Odysseus is my friend and you are trying to kill him!" Shouted Hercules. Odysseus thrust his new sword towards the Kraken and slashed one of its enormous fingers off , the Kraken roared loudly as the waves continued to crash against the shore , Odyssey rolled out of the way and thrust his sword into the Kraken's hand making it roar once more then moved back.
"That is enough!!" Shouted Poseidon , he sent the Kraken back to the depths of the sea and walked through the water towards the beach , Odysseus and Hercules stood side by side and held their swords tight. "Come to fight me yourself?" Said Odysseus , "aghhh" shouted Poseidon as he grew angrier and charged towards Odysseus as he held his golden trident firmly , Odysseus prepared himself for Poseidon's attack as Hercules stood beside him...
