Epic Legend
Later that day the feast had started , Hercules and Odysseus sat around a large table with a large variety of fruit , vegetables and meat in front of them. Hercules grabbed a roasted chicken leg and took a bite out of it as Odysseus sat beside him sharpening his dagger , moments later Odysseus picked up an apple and used his dagger to cut slices out of it , "haha , all of this food to choose from and you choose an apple first" joked Hercules.
Odysseus raised an eyebrow and laughed and then bit into a slice of apple , Hercules grabbed a bowl and started filling it with as much food as he could. A few of the villagers started to play some music and dance as the smell of food filled the air , Hercules chewed on some olives and drank some wine as he watched the dancers spin and twirl around , Odysseus picked up some grilled pieces of lamb and started to eat it as he listened to the music play.
Later that night Hercules and Odysseus had fallen asleep at the table after filling themselves with all the delicious food , the next morning Hercules and Odysseus had left the village behind and continued to travel onwards. They travelled through the woods and towards the mountains , suddenly rain began to fall asleep they walked further into the mountains , Hercules and Odysseus saw a ruined temple just ahead of them and decided to look around.
As they looked around they heard a noise coming from a cave beside the ruined temple , "what was that" said Odysseus as he looked at Hercules , Odysseus drew his sword he and Hercules moved towards the cave slowly. Suddenly a Minotaur burst out of the cave and charged towards them , "a Minotaur!!" Said Hercules , "I thought Theseus killed the only Minotaur left" said Odysseus , "this must be a different one" said Hercules.
The Minotaur pointed his large sharp horns towards them as he continued to charge at them , Hercules and Odysseus ducked and weaved as they tried to avoid being impaled by the Minotaur's horns. The Minotaur grew angrier and started chasing after Odysseus , "don't worry Odysseus , I shall get that beast" said Hercules as he ran towards the Minotaur , Odysseus rolled out of the way then swiftly swung his sword through the air.
Odysseus's sword collided with the Minotaur and cut it's arm , the Minotaur roared in pain for a moment and then it's eyes became red with anger. The Minotaur charged towards Odysseus once more and tried to impale him with it's horns , suddenly Hercules jumped onto the Minotaur's back and began to wrestle it , Odysseus moved out of the way as Hercules grabbed the Minotaur's sharp horns and wrestled him to the ground.
As Hercules held the Minotaur down Odysseus came closer and twirled his sword around in his hand , moments later Odysseus thrust his sword down and thrust it through the Minotaur's chest. The Minotaur roared as Odysseus's sword pierced his heart and then lay there lifeless , Odysseus pulled his sword out of the Minotaur's body as Hercules let go of the body , "foul beast , you were no match for me and my friend Odysseus" said Hercules as he smiled and ran his fingers through his hair.
As the rain continued to fall Hercules and Odysseus travelled onwards through the mountains , more danger lay ahead of Hercules and Odysseus as a deadly creature was waiting for them...
