"Intruders detected... intruders detected in cargo bay" said the computer , Vanessa and Sam ran through the corridors and headed to the cargo bay. Within a few minutes they had arrived , Vanessa drew her nox pistol as Sam held his hex rifle and opened the door , they walked into the cargo bay slowly and looked around , "over there , something moved" whispered Sam , he and Vanessa moved slowly and very carefully towards the shadows.
Suddenly the intruders leapt out from behind the pile of crates and fired their guns , "get down" said Vanessa , Sam and Vanessa jumped out of the way and fired shots at the intruders. Sam held his communication device and activated it and said "reinforcements to the cargo bay now" , Vanessa and Sam fired more shots at the intruders as they waited for the reinforcements to arrive , the intruders fired at them but missed and hit the walls.
"Identify yourselves" said Vanessa , suddenly the intruders spoke...."we are the Klyzma" said the leader of the intruders , "wait, I've heard of the Klyzma , you're pirate's" said Sam. The Klyzma pirate's fired a barrage of shots towards Sam and Vanessa and blew a crate into pieces , moments later reinforcements had arrived , "surrender now or we will shoot you down" said Vanessa , the Klyzma pirate's ignored Vanessa's warning and continued to fire.
"You're outnumbered , you can't win" said Sam , the Klyzma pirate's stayed silent and kept shooting at them , lasers flew through the room hitting the walls and crates. Sam aimed his hex rifle at the Klyzma pirate leader and said , "surrender now or I'll shoot to kill" , "we will never surrender" said the pirate leader , Sam sighed and then fired his hex rifle and shot the pirate leader in the head , the pirate leader fell to the ground as the remaining pirate's and Sam and Vanessa's reinforcements fired more shots.
Vanessa and Sam moved through the shadows closer towards the Klyzma pirate's , "drop your weapons" said Vanessa , suddenly the pirate's turned around surprised and then pointed their guns at her and prepared to shoot. The pirate's were just about to fire then suddenly Sam opened fire and and shot the remaining Klyzma pirate's dead , Vanessa thanked him for protecting her then said "these pirate's must've been the people that Officer Reign was working for".
Sam nodded in agreement and said "yes , they have the same kind of communication device that Reign had" as he looked at the bodies , Sam ordered their reinforcements to put the Klyzma pirate's bodies in the airlock and flush them out into space. "Well we can get back to exploring in peace , at least for now" said Vanessa , Sam looked at her and smiled and then they walked out of the cargo bay , they walked through the corridors and into the engine room and checked everything.
A short time later Sam and Vanessa left the engine room and headed to the locker room and got changed and then went to the gym area , Sam sat down on the bench and started to lift some weights as Vanessa stepped on the treadmill and started jogging. Ten minutes later Vanessa stopped the treadmill and walked over to the punching bag and started hitting it , Sam put the weights down and walked behind the punching bag and held it steady for her.
Vanessa punched and kicked the bag as he held it firmly and stared at her a little , fifteen minutes later Vanessa and Sam left the gym area and walked towards the locker room and sat down for a moment and started talking a little...
