The hyperwarp core powered up and then suddenly the ship entered hyperwarp speed , the crew held on tight as the ship moved faster and faster through space. "The hyperwarp core is stable" said Ilya as the ship flew faster and faster , they travelled faster than ever before as Emilia kept an eye on their surroundings , the ship became so fast that it opened a rift to alphaspace , the ship entered alphaspace and started to shake a little.
"What's going on , where are we" said Vanessa , "we've entered alphaspace" said Sam as Ilya monitored the hyperwarp core closely , "hyperwarp core still stable" said Ilya. Suddenly Emilia detected something on her scanner "Vanessa I'm picking up a distress signal" said Emilia , "where's it coming from?" Asked Vanessa , "it's coming from...the edge of our galaxy" said Emilia , "we're almost back home" said Vanessa.
"Take us to that ship in distress" said Sam , moments later they arrived at the edge of their own galaxy and deactivated hyperwarp and exited alphaspace , Ilya flew the ship towards the distress signal and found a ship under attack. Vanessa activated the communication panel and contacted the ship "this is Vanessa , we're here to help you" she said , the captain of the ship said "you arrived just in time , we're under attack please help us" he said , Sam targeted the enemy ship and armed the weapons.
"Fire all weapons" said Vanessa , Sam fired the ships weapons unleashing a barrage of lasers blasts and torpedoes , the laser blasts and torpedoes battered the enemy ships shields. "Their shields are down to sixty percent" said Emilia , "Sam , target their bridge and fire" said Vanessa , Sam targeted the enemy ships bridge and fired the experimental torpedoes , the experimental torpedoes flew through space and hit the enemy ships shields.
One of the experimental torpedoes penetrated the shields and collided Agathe enemy ships bridge , "BOOM"...the enemy ships bridge exploded , the explosion surged through the ship until it reached their warp core. Moments later the enemy ship exploded into pieces and sent a shockwave through the area , suddenly the captain of the other ship communicated withe them "thank you for your assistance" he said , "no worries , we'll escort you back home as you make your repairs" said Vanessa.
They made their repairs as they followed Vanessa and her crew towards home....
