Vanessa , Sam and Chef Raj walked across the red coloured sand as they scanned for the strange signal , Sam pointed his scanner forward as Vanessa and Raj scanned the other directions. "The signal is coming from this direction to the north" said Sam , Vanessa , Sam and Chef Raj started to travel north across the red sand and passed by bubbling pools of bright blue water , the small area of trees around them creaked a little in the wind as they walked further.
They continued to head north as the wind became a little stronger and sand started move around , "I hope this weather doesn't get any worse" said Raj. They walked a little further until they saw a medium sized structure in front of them , "the signal appears to be coming from inside that structure" said Vanessa , they walked towards the structure and scanned the area around it , "the signal is definitely coming from inside" said Sam as the wind became stronger.
Suddenly the red sand started to make a strange sound as the strong wind blew against it , "looks like a sandstorm is coming , get inside the structure now" said Sam. They opened the door and walked inside the structure and then sealed the door behind them , "we might be stuck here for a while" said Vanessa , they walked around and started to scan the structure room by room , moments later the signal became even stronger on their scanners as they walked up the stairs.
"The signal is coming from this room in front of me" said Chef Raj , he pressed the panel on the wall beside the door but nothing happened , Raj put his scanner away and grabbed the door and started pushing it open. Suddenly Raj shouted as a small cloud of particles burst in front of his face , "ahhh , help me" he shouted , Sam grabbed Raj and dragged him away from the door and put him down on the floor , "whatever that was it's gone now" said Vanessa as she scanned the room.
Sam and Vanessa walked into the room and looked around as Raj sat in the corridor blinded and coughing , Sam picked up a piece of paper off the table and read it. "Hmm it looks like that cloud of particles was a trap for anyone that would try to break in" he said , "is there an antidote or something" asked Vanessa as she looked around the room , "hmm it says an injection of trizinium will cure him" said Sam , moments later he found a bottle of trizinium and a needle and injected Raj.
"You should be better soon" he said as Raj sat there and coughed a little , "I found where the signal is coming from" said Vanessa , Sam rushed back into the room and saw Vanessa standing by a strange triangular shaped device on the desk. "That little thing is giving off a signal that strong" said Sam , "the signal seems to be powering something inside this building" said Vanessa , "where!" asked Sam , "something in the basement by the looks of these scans" said Vanessa.
"Stay here Raj , we'll be back for you" said Sam as he and Vanessa walked away down the stairs and headed to the basement , "ok come back soon" said Raj. Moments later.... Sam and Vanessa searched for the entrance to the basement as Raj sat upstairs holding his gun , Vanessa pressed a strange looking switch on the wall and then suddenly a trapdoor opened behind them , they walked down the stairs until they reached an elevator and then went inside.
"Someone went to a lot of trouble to hide something here" said Vanessa , Sam pressed a button on the panel and the elevator started to move down towards the basement. A couple of minutes later Sam said "how far down is this basement , it feels like we've been moving for ages" , a few minutes later the elevator stopped , they had finally reached the basement and then walked out of the elevator and towards the door , meanwhile upstairs.... Raj started to hear strange sounds and saw blurred shadows as his eyesight slowly began to return , "hello? , is there someone there" said Raj.
Shadows and strange sounds moved nearby , Raj gripped his gun firmly and stood up , "I'm armed , who's there" he said as he pointed his gun towards the end of the corridor. Suddenly a sinister laugh and growl came from around the corner , beads of sweat started to drip from Raj's forehead as he began to panic , his heart beating faster and stronger as the corridor became a little colder...
